Affiliate Graph Score methodology
Every program gets a score from 0 to 100, built only from public program attributes. We never use transaction, sales, earnings or performance data, and we never publish contacts.
Components
- Commission vs. category median (40 pts): 40 × min(rate ÷ category median, 2) ÷ 2. A program at the median scores 20; twice the median or more scores 40. Programs with only a flat-fee (CPA) commission get 20; programs with no listed commission get 0.
- Network coverage (15 pts): 1 network = 5, 2 = 10, 3+ = 15. Records for the same brand domain are grouped together.
- Active status (15 pts): 15 if at least one tracked network record has no closure date. This is derived from public network signals, not any publisher's approval status.
- Cookie window (15 pts): 90+ days = 15, 30–89 = 10, under 30 = 5, not published = 0. Cookie windows are taken only from structured network program terms; we do not guess.
- Data completeness (15 pts): share of description, category, commission, cookie window, country and commission summary that are present.
Rates we hide
- Private or negotiated offers: if an offer's name or commission summary says private, negotiated, exclusive, custom, bespoke, VIP, invite-only or special, we don't show or score its rate. The program is still listed.
- CJ rates above 40%: we treat these as likely data errors and don't show or score them. The program is still listed.
Brand size
Program pages show a brand size tier: Very large, Large, Mid-size, Small or Emerging. It is a relative position within the brands Hi Energy tracks, bucketed from a catalog percentile: top 5% = Very large, top 20% = Large, top half = Mid-size, bottom half = Small, bottom 20% = Emerging. Where available the percentile is based on estimated revenue; otherwise estimated web traffic, then estimated store rank. The page says which basis was used.
The tier is deliberately blinded. We never publish the percentile itself, nor any revenue, sales, traffic, transaction or commission figure for a brand, and the tier does not affect the Affiliate Graph Score. Brands with no size signal show no tier.
Logos
Brand logos are sourced via Hi Energy, self-hosted on this site, and remain the property of their respective owners. They are used only to identify the program.
Data
Snapshot from the Hi Energy API taken 2026-10-22: 5,098 brands across 15 networks. The commission rate is the network-listed default (or max/min when default is missing). Category medians are computed over programs whose primary category matches. Missing fields are left blank, never estimated.
Indexing
Program pages are indexed only when the program is active and has a substantive description, a category and a listed commission. Other pages exist for users but carry noindex and are left out of the sitemap. Category and network lists appear only when they have at least five indexable programs.
Live commissions, partner contacts and full program data are available on Hi Energy.
