About OpinionWorld
OpinionWorld is an online survey and research panel platform where consumers can sign up to participate in market research. Users typically complete questionnaires or install panel-related software or apps that track certain online behaviors, in exchange for rewards such as shopping vouchers or gift cards. The specific “Get Connected Life” / “Connected Live” panel variant described in the source data focuses on participants in Germany who register, install software on their PCs and Android smartphones, and keep using the app for a defined period to qualify for incentives. OpinionWorld acts as an intermediary between consumers and research clients, helping companies gather insights into consumer opinions, habits, and preferences. Participation generally involves filling out online forms, answering survey questions, and sometimes allowing passive data collection through installed applications. The platform emphasizes legitimate lead generation and prohibits incentivizing or bonusing leads beyond the stated rewards. It is positioned as an online service for people who want to trade some of their time and data for modest financial or voucher-based compensation, operating within the broader digital market research and online services ecosystem.
